Outy 800XT or 06 Rincon 680

That's sweet. I am finding out that getting my hands on a 800 XT is alot harder than I thought it was going to be. No one has it in red. The closest yellow is 2 hr and 45 min drive and has 36 miles on it. I found a few greens but really want a red or yellow

There is always a few people who have issues, overall the Bomb is doing VERY well for a new release. If they offer a 5 Year warranty, at least they stand behind the product? Dealer, no. Never met a good dealer yet.
Personally I never buy first year release, no matter who makes it.
Megan, I would just search for a dealer on the net, I'm sure you can do the purchase over the phone and have it shipped if nothing else. I would think most dealers will give you a deal, or eat the shipping.

Thanks. I am going to check it out right now. I just got off of a site where everyone who owned one had pretty much nothing but good things to say about them. The only bad thing is it does not come w/ a skid plat so everyone highly recommends getting that added asap. I also have a friend who told me about a clutch recall but the dealer told me that has been taken care of? Hearing both sides to every story is good so I am checking out the above site now. Thanks.

I just got off of the site and read every thread under Bombardier. I did not find anything negative? Only a few people on that site have actually purchased one yet and they all seemed happy w/ the purchase????

I have the Outlander 800 MAX and I get about 90 miles to the tank with two riders. It has gotten 100 miles on a tank. On a recent ride with about 12 ATV's (500 Scramblers, Brute Force, Honda Rincons, etc.) we all used about the same 2 1/2 gallons on the trail ride when it was time to fill up. The smaller bikes could not believe that I got similar mileage as theirs with two people on board with an 800cc engine.....

Megan,
A freind of mine and I each bought one several weeks ago. We both have over a hundred miles on them. Mostly trail riding in the everglades. We both love them and we were glad we got them. Mine has not had a single problem. His has a speedometer problem. Other that that nothing wrong.
Good luck.
