where 2 get stator?

OK got some results. Testes the stator, and at the battery volts were 13.8. So Thats fine. Checked at the yellow wires and it was around 30. think the problem lies in the battery. going to buy a inerstate battery for it and give that a try.

Check and see if your battery will actually take a charge from a trickle charger. If it will then your battery hasn't been fried yet. If it won't take a charge, then you need a new battery. If it does take a charge with the trickle charger, but your bike keeps losing electrical power and your battery dies while riding (good way to check is to run your lights while riding) then you need a rectifier. If you get a new battery and it too goes bad and won't take a charge anymore, you need a new rectifier. Can get expensive, so use the procedure to check the stator and rectifier and see what you come up with. I had to replace my rectifier after my bike kept dieing out at Glamis. I picked on up off of ebay for 10 bucks, so look around.

Flashlight,
Do yourself a favor and look into the odyssey PC545 battery .
They are head and sholders better then any lead/acid battery.

I will echo that about the PC545 battery. Had a real cold spell, thought I would go out and run all the bikes and quads to charge them up.
I have a PC545 in the DS and The same in my Harley. They turned over like it was middle of summer.
The other quads and bikes were definitely slower to turn over.
The PC 545 is worth the money!
