We will be at the Mtn. Saturday if weather is good, anyone been down recently? Been stuck in Vegas the last 2 weeks working with a short break for x-mas. Like to know what the conditions are and if anyone else is planning a trip down.

went riding out to knolls yesterday- the weather was beautiful and the sand was actually dry- not bad for an end of December ride, but there is a large storm moving in so Saturday is out for me- have fun!

A few of us were at Sand Mountain on Wednesday, and I must say that it had to be one of the best days of riding I have had in a long time. Temp was about 55 deg and sunny until late afternoon and the sand was near perfect, wet but not sticky. It was my first time out with my new HMF pipe and jetting changes, I must say that with the advice from forum members on jetting the DS ran awesome. We also went out to the Knolls on Thursday and had a good ride, but it was a bit of a let down after Sand Mountain on Wednesday. Anyway if the weather stays decent, you should have a great time.

Yes, that was me, but it was probably my 18 y/o on it if there was any showing off going on, he normally rides a CR500, but it is torn down being rebuilt, the deal was he would ride the KFX700 and I was supposed to have the DS to myself, well that didn't last, he loves the DS, says it is the next best thing to his CR, anyway I guess I must have missed you. I spent a lot of time getting the alignment set better on the KFX, hadn't really ridden it much since replacing the tie-rods.(My wife ran it in a ditch and turned one of the tie rods into a u-bolt) my boy did say he saw another DS, but I didn't see you anywhere.

we'll have to hook up with you guys in the spring down at LSU - meet ya then. Wednesday the weather was fabulous, I was dreaming about the dunes but found myself up in the Uintas doing some ice fishing, almost as much fun as duning
