I noticed my 05 x has a hesitation in second gear at low rpm. If you launch in second it takes off but kinda hesitates then all of a sudden it takes off like a rocket. if you take off in first and then shift to second its fine. seems like once it stutters for a second and then goes. i have not ever noticed it doing this. It cant be my weight because it does the same thing with my wife on it. she only weighs 125lbs. im a little confused. maybe i should take the no toil filter back off and put the stock one back on. thats the only change that has been made to it.

 

The No-Toil will be flowing more air than the stock filter. You might need to rejet it again or maybe even move the clip on the carb. Just my 2 cents. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Scott, you may want to try a 15 tooth front sprocket.

 

Yep, sure sounds like you need more power, or lower gearing, or less paddle.

 

Stock pipe 2BIG? Did you mess with the jetting after putting the No-toil on? Get an open end cap or another pipe to get her to breath out the other end. Try a 175 main clip in the middle. I have an extra pipe and a HPR cap laying around. PM me

 

Come on guys you dont think i would adjust anything on there do ya[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Thae bike has plenty of power, i guess you could not call it a bog, more of a hick up its a stutter than pow your gone. the x is stock except for changing the air filter .

 

Does it do it in neutral? punch it from idle, does it do it? If so....... LEAN!
