Hi Guys. Happy New Year. I have recently bent one of my back rims on my 04 Baja. I have decided to order a new set of rims and tires. Right now I am running ITP Holeshots on the stock 9 inch rims. My question for you guys is I plan on running a 22 inch ITP tires again and buying a set of Douglas .190 rims. Should I go with the 9inch rim or change to the 10 inch rim ? Im not sure what would be the best choice here. Thanks, Derek

Thanks for your input. I do most of my riding in sand quarry's where there is not a lot of rocks. But once in a while I head up to Phila Pa. They have some big boulders there so I'm still up in the air on this one. I'm guessing going with the 10in rims verse the 9 will give me more control around the bends as there will be less tire sidewall to flex. I'm not sure if there is much of a difference though between the two to make a difference. D

its a hard choice - real world use on trails says 9" have several advantages - what ace has already said about clearance, plus in wet muddy conditions with low air pressure the tire on the 9" rim can give a bigger footprint for more traction.
but IMO 10" rims look nicer, and the entire tire/rim package weighs a little less.
