Hey everyone! I'm new to the board. I just bought a new '05 DS 650X. Replaced the stock exhaust with a Yoshi. Is anyone interested in buying the stock exhaust and the handle bar brush gaurds?

What's the top speed of this bike with stock gearing?

 

You will probably get all sorts of answers to that question. Anywhere from high 50's to high 70's. And every one of them will be exactly correct because their brother's cousin was clocking them with a radar or gps that is right on [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Sorry, couldn't help myself. Lots of variables including weight, surface, traction, etc.

 

There is a gear calculator that will allow you to know what your potential top speed is. Keep in mind that they are your potential top speed. If you cannot get to the RPM that top speed occurs at, you will not make that speed.
