Hightower,

How are you getting 2 seasons out of an aluminum sprocket? Mine last me about 6 months at about 2 riding weekends per month. It is absolutely trashed at that point......teeth missing........ugly!

Seat of the pants could you actually feel any difference going to the 520 kit? Any regrets ditching the 530?

Yea I could tell. It let the motor rev quicker. I am glad I went to the 520. That ole 530 chain is pretty heavy.

oldman yes I run the o-ring ti-moly, for woods trails.

dsnut I don't know, it has just lasted, its from Sprocket Specialists and cost like $52 I think, plus shipping. I have buddies who got the cheaper primary drive or titax brand aluminum for like $28 outa Rocky Mt., they did not last, but this one I have in 530 is lasting surprisingly well. I throw away two fronts every year, but my rear alum has been on for over a year and has no significant wear that concerns me, so I am just assuming I'll make it this season it too. AZSAND runs the same rear on his high end bikes, and he uses non-oring chain and has them teflon coated and never puts a drop of lube on them, if memory serves.
