BigShow!!!
Welcome back buddy! I was referring specifically to Rotax 650's. The stock jug lacks sufficient bracing if it is bored out to receive a sleeve for high horsepower, high stress applications. Structurally it seems to hold up to mild and moderate builds........... as long as the sleeve doesn't drop without the head being pulled off and the top cleaned up after about 10 hrs (or less in Ray's case) or the sleeve isn't out of round to begin with (much). Halfliter will always come up in these discussions because he went to the work of properly reinforcing the cylinder to receive and brace the sleeve. If race shops who offered sleeved bigbores took sleeving to this level, they would probably have no problems but......... a sleeved bigbore would then be just as, if not more expensive than a manufactured bigbore cylinder.

DSNUT, Also without any disrespect...I have been reading these forums for quite a while and could not help but notice that you have come on the scene as of late with flowing rhetoric, and with your philosophy of how things should function and how you seem to "push" your ideology onto others with such great unction. Now with that said, I also have noticed a deep passion for your particular builders at hand and I also respect that. But as I have quoted many, many times....talk is cheap. So you have formed an opinion of me already, huh. Go ahead and say what you're going to say. How cheap is my talk?
