I'm Back
#1
Well, it's been a long time since I have been on the forum, but I'm back and with a new name; I was Final Climax. A lot has gone on in the last couple of years since I've been gone. I got divorced, lost my job, got a new job and got re-married, but the killer was my bike had a major malfunction last May.
I was running a stock bore with a RW Stage 3. I was really happy with the bikes performance and had no major problems for a couple of years. When I finally tore into it I discovered I had broke a valve spring, which broke the valve, which put a nice hole in my head and of course damaged the cylinder, piston and one of my RW Race 7 cams. I sent the lower end in to Ron (a.k.a preacher) and he took great care of me. I was happy to find out that my tranny was in excellent shape. For the last couple of months I've been at idle waiting for the cash to put my baby back together. Well that time is now and I will be sending off a head I got from Dune Me to RW for another stage 3 set-up. However, I will not be returning to that stock bore. I'm in the process of looking for some RW race 7 cams, and a pami 102 piston. As long as I get everything I want in a timely fashion I should be up and running in the next couple of months.
I can't wait to get back into the swing of things again and look foward to chatting with all of you in the future

Welcome back Ace. OK, so I don't who you are. These guys do and you are a fellow rider from California so that's good enough for me. Welcome back.
Now a question for you aceisback: what do you think of Phil Klasky?

Well the rebuild is coming along. I purchased a used head from my good buddy Dune Me, purchased a set of new RW race 7 cams and valve spring kit, and 12.5:1 pami piston. I sent the bomb my head to port with enlarging the vavles 1 mm and I also sent him my stock jug to bore it out to 102.5 to match my new piston. He should have all my stuff by tomorrow and its my hope to be taking it to Sand Mt. the second week in March to break this baby in.
While its been down I have done some cosmetic changes to it by getting rid of that ugly orange and going all black with a little white and silver to offset.
Dune me, I've got the itch sooooooooooo bad. It's getting so close I can taste it. Can't wait until St. Anthony's!! I'm also ready to sh@#$ my pant in the new rail of yours.

Put some ear-plugs in the rear trunk-wing. . . I should probably get some Depends and put them in there too for the first time riders
