Hey, just joined the forum. I've got a bone stock DS and am thinking of going ALBA with it. If you guys have any comments I'd like to hear them. My DS is my first quad and from what i've found it seems the Alba parts are pretty reasonable, except for the a-arms which are about 800 bucks. I'm a huge fellar (bout 600lbs) and my DS tosses me around like a little bug. My name is Virgil by the was. Been reading some threads and you guys seem like a pretty close knit group of riders. I think i'm gonna like this forum.

Welcome to the forums.
If you are looking for more go fast parts, I have heard good things about Alba, but check our Ron Woods rotax and HPR And do a bunch of search, and always ask questions. It is nice to learn from everyone elses mistakes

Thanks Dragon. I've had my quad for a couple months now and it is a beast. I Love it. I've been looking around for a few weeks now and Alba has really caught my eye. I don't know to much about Ron Woods parts. I guess I'll have to take a look. Thanks a lot.

WELCOME ! WOW almost 600 pounds, there are a lot of big guys on here, but I think you have them beat.
I am glad you like the DS, as DragonDJ11 said check all the options before you lay down your hard earned money, there is a lot of advise here

Welcome, there is a lot of girth around here, you should fit in well. Check out the screen names you will see a lot of "fat's" and "big's". Thats why I love the DS. Big boy's bike. Do some research on Alba, I'm right around the corner from them and while their selection is pretty good the performace gains may be less than desired. I do love their chingas (shinney little extras), but you could do much better on the performance end. Once again welcome!

Welcome aboard! Check out 1BigDSrider's picture page. He has a a sweet swingarm and rear shock setup for the guys who frequent the big and tall store.

Yeah i'm pretty huge, dieting though. Hopefully gonna lose it so my ride'll go faster (fingers crossed). LOL... Yeah i've been doing some research for the little time i've had it and i've looked at Big Gun exhausts and it seems from all the people i've been reading about that have them have been repacking them quite often. I'm not looking for much in power upgrades. Kinda want to get it looking better. Stock doesn't look bad, but I know it could look a lot better. I like the Alba race pipe and it comes with a kit for about $299 which comes with the K&N filter, outerwears, jets and needles. I think that is a pretty good deal considering Hindle and Big Gun are pricey. I'm not sure which CDI I should upgrade to though. Been hearing good things about Vortech but they seem pretty expensive.
