You have to ask and pay. I think the dealer looses some incentives if they sell it to you.

It may be dealer specific or distric specific.
They may just offer it in slower sales areas.

I will try that, thank you. I know prior to the first of the year the 5 year was free. In October I purchased a new 06 400 outlander and got the 5 year for free but you had to print off the couplon from the internet.

Congrats in the new quad, I think you will like the max better. I have experience on both and the max with the longer wheel base seems to be more stable than the single seat version. Just keep an eye on the front springs, the XT max has a two piece spring and they have had reports of those collasping but is covered under warranty.

Thanks for the heads up on the springs, Geomann. Anyone have the file for printing up the coupon for the 5 year warranty?
