Sorry I did not have a chance to weight the sub frame but will soon!! Having a few built right now for a couple guys!! Should have an answer in about a week. I will say 12+ pounds saved and they will work for dune riding but the battery will have to be relocated.

I think we should all post a picture of every part sitting on a scale to verify weight. I have read so many times that if you remove your front fenders and supports you save like 14 pounds!! Then I took mine off and weighed them I cant say that number to be exact but it is really like 2 pounds together! Its like the bike lenghts gain I also hear...6 bike lenghts on the hill.....right.....

Darren, Everything I have got from Glenn has been exactly what he said it was to the tee... I understand where your comming from, But Bombers not a BSer he is a straight shooter. Ive weighed the subframe and then another subframe that was lightened, And I save almost 10 lbs.

I am not pointing at him, I just want to prove once and for all with all the weight posts. Just do a search on weight and you can laugh at most of them. I can tell its lighter, no doubt about it. Man 10 or 12 pounds is ALOT of weight! I cut off my battery bar and mount, the mount for the battery is heavy but still not much on a scale....more like a pound. The bar I cut off....still nothing....under a pound. Can someone weigh a stock one??

I have a stock sub frame at the fab shop and will get it on the scale in the next couple days!! Its a heavy turd LOL The new c-moly is very light cuz it floats around the shop !!!! MY DS weights in at 315 ready to race with bottle and tank full on a pro race car scale!!! It can happen LOL
