What happens if you get stuck out there? Is the subframe strong enough to withstand me horsing my bike around by the rear grab bar?

Thanks for the info,

Ron

Aluminum and no, you cannot horse it around if you get stuck. Its strictly drag race only.

Ron this sub frame is fairly strong, I have not tested it to its limits with my bike only weighting 315 but the grab bar is how we jerk the bike around

Its like the bike lenghts gain I also hear...6 bike lenghts on the hill.....right.....
Baja, I removed my front fenders and I will weigh them as soon as I can with bolts and brackets. My bike will be going on a big diet sometime after Planet Sand. I plan on weighing everything so that I can see just how much weight my ds looses. I will post all weights, stock and modified.

Weight loss program for my Ds.

Front brakes removed
Front fenders removed
Trimed rear plastics
On dunes Subframe
On dunes drag a-arms and spindles
Lightweight drag axle
new rear hubs
Light weight tripple buff rear tires
jr. dragster front tires
On dunes steering stem
Lights removed
Front bumper removed
Light weight chain
new lighter sprockets
drag handle bars
Trim extra brackets off the frame
light weight fuel tank

Shooting for an overall weight under 350 lbs fully fueled.

That sounds good enough. That will get my bike down to a fully dunable 400 lbs wet!!! I can afford to show the grab bar a little respect for a 12 lb weight savings.

Thanks Glenn!
