I paid $6,350 OTD with a winch installed, I would go for the 650. The suspension has longer travel
more ground clearance, EFI and the power is supposed to be like a 700cc, the reviews have been great,
and voted ATV of the year by ATV Rider magazine for what it's worth. But nothing beats a test drive

Hey shug duff im having a prob with choosing a atv im dow nt o arctic cat and brp outlander. I live far from the dealers dont want to see the shop at all if i can wich one is more reliable ? all i want to do is change the oil and filter and go. Im looking a the 400 outlander and 400 vp irs manual shift. I know that cat is running the suzuki motor but the rotoax is a reliable one to. i know the cat will be beat on the trail and drags. but us it enough to say hands down the brp will just kill the cat are the yreally that far apart ? my boss has outlander 400 say 55mph top speed up here the dealer told me its the about the same for the arctic cat. basically wich one is bullet proof there both around the same price ? i know bomb hasent been making atv`s for that long are the bugs out ?

I just traded in an 04 yamaha Bruin for my Outy 400, but the price would have been about $7000.00 here in NY. That's taxes and DMV charges, but no winch.
You're comparing two totally different machines with the Outy and DS. The best machine for you depends on what type of trails you ride. I'm still in the break-in stage so I haven't ridden it very hard, but I think it'll be a great trail machine.
