Do you have your durablue axle on? is it exactly the same for the sprocket hubs and stuff? ive been trying to get one from two seperate BIG dealers/ suppliers and have had 0 luck they keep sending a 03 axle while the box is saying its a 04....Where did you get yours?

You will need to get the old hub pressed off on the sprocket side and them pressed back on...I am not sure if L and C machine shop will be able to do it next to commerce bank in Berlin, but you should give them a try and I sent the whole procedure to another thread just last night, but some things have changed because I have an '01 and thats wat I posted, the 01' procedure, but for the most part it is the same.

You will not need any press...they all slide off pretty dang easy since they are allum and will be wore some... mine came off and went on very easy. For the 03s and earlier i can see them needed pressing on and off since they are steel. This is a old post im pretty sure he has alrdy done this...i just wanted info from someone who actually has the right axle thats why i brang it back to life.

Dennis kirk and a big local dealer who has tried very hard. If i dont get a 04 pretty soon i am going to buy a 03 allum sprocket hub and just go with the 03 durablue axle...getting sick of this need a strong axle.
