Default gearing with the 520 chain?

does the rotating mass change cause any gear changing? for our dunes 15-42 was pretty nice on the 530.

Nope. Gearing is only effected by circumferencial leverage. You could theoretically reduce rotational mass enough that you would benefit by running a little higher gears. That is possible.

Default gearing with the 520 chain?

Sandman,

How much for TVI-720 and what did you get? Do they resleave or new (AL?) cylinders? What cylinder coating material, Nickel? and what other components in package?

I don't see anything on TVI site, so they may not still produce them-?

Thanks a lot!

The TVI is a Steel sleeve and Gary says its not a LA sleeve he said he orders them from some company that makes sleeves for race cars he dosent coat his cylinders, my Aluminum sleeved cylinder that was nikisiled is a 730 yep the piston was 105.5MM woohoo will be in this week Ill take picks when it shows up this week, waiting on other componets before I rebuild the top end.

Thanks Guys for the information.

ERBE,

Where did you get nickeled at and how much? That sounds like the best cylinder wall surface available for longetivity.

If I go into my engine, that would be an extra nice addition for the trouble.

Thanks

Heres the link, they charged me 400 for the bore sleeve and coating, but they dont sel the piston, you need to send them a piston so they can match fit it to the clearence required. Text Millennium Technoligies Ask for Kurt.
