powder coating the frame
#3
AZSAND made it clear that a lot of electrical problms can arise if you don't make sure that there is a good ground between the sub-frame and main frame. Mine will be going in for powder coat in the next month....what color are you getting????

make sure you protect as many bolt holes as you can, the guy who sprayed mine put it on so thick that even the a-arms, sub frame and swing arm where hard to get back on. I did a lot of drilling and prepping before I even tried to assemble the thing

What are we looking at cost-wise to powdercoat the frame and sub?
No motor right now, so it might be the perfect time to do it. We were going to start powder coating ourselves but have yest to build the oven.

Thanks Bomber...
Been calling around here, and I called what must have been the most expensive place around. They quoted me around 475. Called a couple of others and I was told 175 - 250. Not too bad I guess. The question now becomes - should I powder coat my a-arms (stock)? I'm not worring about saving the pounds, and I don't wan't anything wider..... don't really want to pay big bucks for new ones either.
Thoughts????
