Default East Coast DS Days - Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Guys be aware the organized drage being spoken of are not in the Silver Lake Sand Dunes riding area, they are down the road at a drag park.

DStroyer, is there a website for the place, so that if anybody is interested in running in it they can make some plans and check into it? I am not sure...

Sure Hightower,

http://www.sanddragways.com/

You can get all the info you need from this website. When I say WMSD, that is short for West Michigan Sand Dragway. Its only 1/2 mile or so from the park. It is not connected by any means to the park. What a blast to watch these monster jeeps, buggies, quads and top fuelers in action.

oh no not at all man, I'm very glad you guys brought it up, absolutely! And yes I definitely want to check out some of the activities at the WMSD, I'm usually up there on weekdays, few people go on weekdays so I own the dunes when I go, and there is never anything going on at WMSD on weekdays. This should be fun!

I will add links to WMSD site, and the Appletree Nationals flyer and its details, to the ECDSDays website this week!
That's a pretty cool coincidence!

Bombsaint, If its the canister that has no opening coming straight out the back, it has a sparky inside that big canister and it should be ok.

all stock pipes are USFS approved, you will be fine. 3 types of arresting, baffles inside mufflers that make flow change directions on its way through, screens, and disks.
except when she tries to climb the 4 biggest dunes, the first of which is Test Hill right out of the entrance. Unfortunately it won't make it up and over, but she can easily go around these 4 dunes and stay with the group from a distance but in sight no problem.

Hightower,
I rode my exs old 2000 Trailblazer over all the dunes, I'd think a Trailboss could too. Maybe not though. Gotta keep it pinned.

yeah I'll go optomistic and agree it might, depends on sand conditions and rider weight and stuff, it'll be cool if it will, hopefully it does.
