Default East Coast DS Days - Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Hey has there been an East Coast DS Days before? Seems like a few years back it went on and had several DS's turnout - I don't recall, I may be wrong.

If there has been one, and somebody has some pics of it, please let me know so that I can add an album for them in the gallery!

I have a pretty retarted question here, I have always got a orv sticker for my quad. Is it nessessary to have one or not on a atv? I have heard you don't need one, but then I have heard you need one. Which is it?

I have a couple of pics. I gotta go digging for them. I will post as soon as I get a chance. Hopefully this year it will be bigger. Were less than 10 DS650's there. I'm hoping 25-30 this year.

What year was the first and only other EC DS Days?

Yes you must have a sticker for your quad, you must have an OHV sticker for anythig that does not have its own license plate.

It was on Labor day weekend, I think 2001 the place was packed, we had a tough time because of the vouchers, I'm sure Entomber remembers this. This is during the time while my motor was MIA, so I was there on a stock 400ex

When it gets closer we will have to make sure nobody has voucher problems.

I agree Wayne, me you and Entomber were their on Labor Day weekend about 3 years ago too, and it was a nightmare. Actualy we were there on friday, when no vouchers were needed, but we kept getting forced into the voucher line by the stupid traffic guy, remember?

Well I plan on showing up friday morning July 28th to get vouchers in advance for the weekend, and I recommend everyody do the same fi they can.

Is it possible to get a bunch of extra vouchers? If so, the few of us that show on friday early maybe can get some vouchers for others that can't show until saturday? I don't think you can, but worth asking since I'm not sure...

For those of you who have not been there and don't know what we are talking about - since the park is kinda small, they limit how many can be on the dunes at one time. It can fill up quick on weekends, especially holidays, which is why we are NOT having DS Days on a holiday weekend! But it still may fill on our weekend, or at least come close, so they give vouchers in advance to guarantee entry, and you can get them the day before...

Hightower,

Each vehicle is allowed 2 vouchers, but be sure to have the license plate number off the vehicle not with you. Also, you have to get in line each night to get the voucher the following day. We once asked why we have to dedicate so much time to get vouchers, when were already there friday night. Their response is, it gives everyone(including the ones showing up on Saturday), the same chance to get into the park. Makes sense I guess. So, every Friday and Saturday night, we grill out in line and eat our dinner there.
