East Coast DS Days - Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Okay me and my Raptor bud are the only ones going. We are staying at the Silver Sands Resort. Kind of pricey but we are splitting it amongst ourselves. Now to get my haulers.

If you mean the Sierra Sands Resort then it's a great place to stay. We stayed there last year and the people were really nice, everything was clean and taken care of daily. Definetly will stay there again.
Scooby...the voucher and orv sticker is all easy to get. You'll buy the sticker on your way into the parking lot....and the voucher stand is easy to find and you just go the evening before to get it, like everyone explained. And for any first timers....Silver Lake is a great place to ride.....it's not the biggest dunes in the states, but I had a blast there last summer, and if all goes well I'll have the new 700 up there by the end of summer this year.

So let me get this straight. I have to get a voucher friday night in order to ride sat., and so on for sun.? I don't think I can get there until sat. morning, would this mean that I would'nt be able to ride until sun. morning? And I am from Ohio so does this mean I have to have a orv from ohio as well in order to ride? Sorry but I am just tryin to get the facts, and yes I have read most of what is on there site but things are still blurry, maybe I need to read the rules sober LOL. RUSS

You do not have to have registration from your home state, you simply must purchase a Michigan DNR sticker for your quad regardless if you are registered at home or not. There isn'y even any paperwork to fill out, you just give them money and they give you the sticker and you stick it on your quad.
vouchers are not necesary, they were just created to allow you quick easy access in the morning without having to wait in line behind all the people that will be paying and gettig their stickers and stuff. the voucher system lets you get this taken care of the evening in advance, so the next morning you just show up get right in and ride. if you show up in the mornign with no voucher, you simply have to wait in the line, however long or short it may be. I am hoping its not too busy, since it is not a holiday weekend. If it was a holiday it would be nearly impossible to get in on saturday or sunday without a voucher from the night before, but on non hilodays its not that bad so you should be fine showing up saturday morning. Then after riding on saturday, on our way out all of us will stop at the voucher station and get a voucher for sunday morning.

I didn't lose to any bike I ran against on Saturday, and that was with 650cc not 720cc, running minimum boost. Sunday a mystery problem popped up so the DS wasn't running quite as good then. Turned out to be a 3" hose that partially popped off causing a huge air leak. Didn't find that out until I got home. I've been making some changes to the setup lately, only getting faster.
drag bikes are allowed, just need a spark arrestor on the end of pipe.

What happened to the 720 kit from Millenium? And how far was you having to run the other bikes to beat them?
