Hey we are taking a spring break trip to Little Sahara Utah (weather permitting) March 27th-30th Just wanted to see if anyone else is going or wants to go. Hope to see someone there.

 

I will be there with my fam on the 29th weather permitting. I can't wait

well I changed my vacation so now we will be there the 29th -april 2nd so hope to see more of you there.

 

sorry I won't make it, my son's scout troop has an overnighter in the desert Friday and so that's where we'll be, the weather looks a little questionable too, not a big fan of wet dunes. Some of the forum guys went down yesterday maybe they'll chime in with some sand condition info?

 

Yep we were up there yesterday. The sand was basically wet. When the wind picked up it started to dry out the top, but with last nights storm, its probably wet again. There is still some snow in the north slopes, but that might melt off by next weekend. It was 68 degrees out there yesterday before the storm, nice. Cynick, I wont be able to make it either, the big Fairview shootout for sleds is next weekend and I will be there. But have fun and be safe.

 

I will be in the Hurricane area 1st week of April. Never been there before so where to stay for a base camp will be new.

 

I saw a forecast yesterday that said 56 and partly cloudy for the 31st. Today I saw another channels forcast saying 58 and no clouds. I know forecasts can change but my experience says usually LS is about 5-10 degrees warmer than SLC on any given day in spring, so Friday will be good hopefully. I will be there out at the mountain around 11 or so. Hope to see some there. I will look out for you cynick

 

We will be at the campground just look at our pics and you'll know what to look for only Now my bike is black and my wifes is blue. but the truck is the same with the hick camper. Can't wait to meet who ever will be there.
