Default aluminum sub frame

I've been doing some research on lightening the ds, well i was referred to prm, they make grab bars and bumpers. well turns out they own and ride ds's here in oregon. they have made several aluminum parts for the ds many of which are not production things, but some could be with interest shown. the sub frame and oil tank were things that popped right up on my interest list, i let sandbomber know about this so if any are interested let him know so they could look into making some of these products available for us ds guys.

not sure how hard things could be on the sub frame, looks to hold the seat and tail light, and stock holds the battery. 14-15 pounds for stock is to much though.

Whenever I pull a bonehead move and have to pull the back end of my DS around I have to horse the bike around by the rear grab bar. I am considering the On-dunes chromolly as well............I think it will handle some abuse but I will definately show it more respect...........
