I just got the Raptor, so no comment there.

We've beat the crap out of the R though including jumps.

Also, Josh has flipped it over backwards and we only bent the grab bar.

O hey what about the 300 lb rider & his gear ?
I figure maybe 25% is distributed to the foot pegs but man rider weights vary !
Sounds interesting though....

i can't imagine a 300 rider needing all the strength of the sub frame that we have, if the 300 pound riders, could get a hundred pounds off of there machines that would be like 200 pound pilots, and then those guys would really like the ds, plus if we lost in the races we could challenge the small machine guys to a rumble, that when you really like the big ds guys.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Default aluminum sub frame

I'm all for dropping the weight of the DS. Also game for my pilot loosing weight.

How strong, is the aluminum sub frame. To me the aluminum just doesnt look like the best way to go for me. Im one of the 300+ riders that torch there whole quad everytime I go out to race. So it has to be able to hold me.
