My Outlander 330 does 50 MPH. ........

 

The 06' outlander 400 ho would probably be one of my top choices for that class 4-wheeler, what seems to be the problem?

You should be good, any "bugs" have been worked out. Is the shifter still kind of sticky at times?? That is probably my biggest complaint......and you can hear them a half mile away LOL. These Rotax engines sure have a unique sound.

 

hey i can get 85 km outta my outlander 400 max xt but still i need more power and lil tips or mods i can get to supe up my quad.

 

let me put it this way, the outlander 800 goes 75MHP so 55 is pretty damn good for a 400!

i have a suzuki kingquad 300, (280cc) and it tops out at 53mph or so.

I have a Big Gun exhaust and a K&N filter on my Outtie 400. Definately perked it up a bit. Revs faster, funner to ride.

The bombardier forum at atvfrontier.com is super Outlander 400 friendly! Lots of information and experience with them over there. Search the bomb forum and you'll find all kinds of mods. Exhaust, clutch kits, MAX springs, to simple things like making sure the throttle stop screw is turned out all the way.
