I was wondering, since it being a Bomber forum, if anyone has had problems with finding mx helmets. I know there are a few larger guys that ride bombs and was wondering if someone could point me in a direction as to where I could find a helmet for my quite large melon. My problem is that i have about a 30" circumference head and no one that i could find makes a helmet that large. Does anyone know of anyone that could make a helmet that big or if one is already made where i could purchase one. I know it is sure as hell not safe riding without one, hence the reason i don't ride like a crazy@ss. If anyone has any ideas please help a guy out. Thx

I have a couple of XXL helmets because I always wear a bandana for more comfort. They would be too loose if I didn't have the doorag thing going on. Never measured my grape but it seems and XXL would be big enough for Shaq's big azz head. Should fit you too. I have seen some XXXL helmets at the block sale at Chaparral so they may have them in their catalog. Or the Rocky Mountain catalog.

 

I have a XXXL HJC and I wear a size 8 hat. My dome is pretty big.

 

Thx guys. Like i said my head circumference is 30" and those helmets only go up to about 26 or 27"s. It sux. I even tried talking to Fox and HJC to see if it would be possible to custom make one my size and they said they wouldn't. Kinda pissed me off. I'm just at a loss of ideas.

 

it looks like you'll have to work with a motorcycle helmet....
