Here's my dilemma. What would you do?

Recently I purchased a new 800 Max and will take delivery in June. I opted for the $49 winch package at the expense of the three-year warranty. The winch is "carry out" and I'll still get the 6-mo warranty, but with this deal will not get the additional, $50 deductible, 2 1/2 years.

Over the summer I spend as much time as my wife will allow at our ranch in Wyoming, usually 6 mos or so and during that period will typically put about 1500 miles on my quads. The winch is for emergencies and would not be used daily.

I've signed the papers so legally I'm bound, but I'm thinking of asking the dealer if he would change the deal and I can have the 3-year warranty and he can keep the winch. I'll then install one of those warn knock offs from E-Bay. The dealer could say no and that's for him to do or not do, but what would you do?

I wanted the warr also but BRP said no, even though their website said yes.

Can't go wrong either way.
