Ah!

So Scatter, what is bead+bead? Is that buffed from bead to bead? How is that compared to the triple buff or superlight?

Dont mean to answer for Scatter. But Skat Trac haulers come in 3 different buffs. You either buy the regular buffed tires which are just buffed from paddle to paddle. Or you buy the double buffed tires which are buffed bead to bead. Or you buy the triple buffed version which are also buffed bead to bead down to the last cord of the tire. These are also known as superlites.

here is my reply, i had the 25 ten paddel triple buffs and i have the 22 7paddal haulers. my bikes had plenty of power to turn the 25 with someone else on the bike. where i have not had any problems turning the 22 6. im slowly jumpimg up in paddals i have some 22 7 triple buff extremes coming on the 8 honda wheal. i am bigger than most riders so the 25 did not work for me. gave them to mario and he seems to be happy with them.

I run 10 and 12 paddle medium buff 22' extremes. I may have to get some 14's when we get into summer sand though. I don't think you will like the impact on rotational mass that rippers will have. They are a thick sidewall tire for heavy machines. That means they are not ideal for floatation, sidewall flex or weight savings. As you know, next to the effects of internal rotational mass, the wheels and tires are the most important external rotational mass items due to their overall weight and distance from the axis of rotation........

I will be trying out a set of 25" soon. I won't run them often because on a typical weekend they will be a dead giveaway that I am packing some wallop. Not exactly conducive to a sleeper.
