The Worst Crash!!!
#11
Hey now, the KGB, or others may be watching this sight, so no mentioning of going out of bounds......I must say that was a Kodak moment watching NUT bail off the uphill side and seeing this brand new quad doing cart wheels down into the brush and swamp. I can vouch that his one way gas cap vent tube works great, even after 10 minutes of bing greasy side up, I don't think we lost one drop of that precious race gas. All is well that ends well.

Don't worry about me telling anyone on the forum how you took my DS down a chute that the swingarm was too short to get back out. Or about when I had to go down and help you get it through the trees where you rode biatch through the swamp on the trail of shame. That is one secret that is safe with me!
I think that was the same trip, wasen't it? lol

Don't know how bad this crash was but man for my vary first trip out on my brand new 04 BajaX and not 5 minutes out of camp with friends I decided to charge up this hill that had a rock face sticking up out of the grade near the top by about 2.5 ft.
I thought hey I got the biggest baddest ATV made I can handel this. I got speed going up and I got loads of suspension I should bounce right up and over this thing. welll
After bouncing the front end of my bike up in the air me holding on for dear life I threw my self off to the side as it was pitching up and over about to land square on top of me and just full on ended up Upside down at the top of this hill. Once I regained my composure I had to drag the 500+lb bike down the hill side to get her to flipped back over.
Then on the 10 minute ride back to camp I full on punctured my back tire in the side wall putting an end to that weekends trip.
This was all alcohol free and injury free incident thanks to my protective gear.
Just sucked being the first trip out on my new DS... boy did that suck... 2 hour drive for 5 minutes of stupidity.
Well at least I did not get hurt. I learned a good lesson that day... go slow and easy till you really know the area... See old dogs do learn new tricks.

Well mine sucked but it is really funny now that it is over. You can see a picture of the truck on our profile page. Here it goes.
I the wife had never loaded a 4 wheeler in the back of a truck before and I thought I was going to have to go get a new one in town since hubby was working I just figured it would be easier than hooking up the trailer and hauling it around everywhere. So I decided to practice in the Driveway well (by the way he just put a twist throttle on his bike so I wasn't use to it yet either.) The first time I went up the ramps I stalled it halfway up the ramps. The Second time I got to the top and was going to fast ( he told me I had to give it more gas than the first time) I wheelied up and so I hung on tight well when you hang on tight to a twist throttle you are full bore so I came down right into the back of the truck luckily the spare tire was there because I hit it and bounced off but I was going fast enough to put a pretty good bend in the front of the bed and the back of the cab, and broke the window out we are still finding glass in the truck and it has been almost a year. Well needless to say I really like hauling a trailer and have not nor will I ever put a quad in the back of a truck ever again. By the way nothing happened to the DS at all it was just fine. Me I was fine to. The Truck took about $2000 to fix but insurance to care of it so it is all good now.
If nothing else this will make you all laugh that is what it did to us nothing else you can do but laugh after it was all done and over with.

Ok, well I am not gonna give anything up on myself because there are a few of you out there that I know will do that for me, so instead I am gonna pick on scatter to start this off. Out at winchester bay, or and we are all lined up for a hill race. Well about 5 to 10 feet from the top there was a little whoop. Well we all had been hitting and but you had to make sure to slow down a little before that. Need less to say Scatter forgot to let off of the botton and hit that whoop and he went flying. Right on the side of the bike. No injuries, but it did look pretty cool from down below as him and his bike were laying on there sides. Nice shot Scatter. Moral......DON"T FORGET TO LET OFF OF THE BOTTON

Five minutes into our first and only trip to Carnegie my buddy was riding my other friends new 350 Raptor......we come to a huge hill, my buddy on the Raptor just goes for it while me and my other friend held back sizing up the hill...the guy on the Raptor gets about half way and starts to lose it, he ends up jumping off while my other buddy watches his new quad rolling down the hill. We had another dirtbike as a spare for riding but really put a damper on the day. My friend has now crashed mine and my buddies quads, I finally got him to buy my Beartracker so he had his own to wreck.

I got a better one! haha .In the middle of the winter,I was on the river at full speed. It was all under control until I started to slide and I hit a bunch of snow....The rear of the raptor lift from the ground and went on me and did a forward flip! When I open my eyes,I was on the river and the raptor was on 4 wheels......so i guess I did the first front flip ever LOL

My worst crash was my first ride on my DS. I got to the sand a few hours before my buddies. I had never been to Winchester before and really hadnt done alot of duning. I so I thought I would have a little look around while I waited. No kidding I went out of the parking lot and headed south went over the first dune a bit fast and when I came over the top I ran head first into a witches eye about the size of a Volkswagon. Stopped me dead in my tracks. I went over the bars and face first into the sand. Only injury was my pride and nutz from slamming into the gas cap.
