We went to the dunes in Winnemucca, me and a friend were climbing this dune, we had went up it two or three times no problem. The fourth time I went up, I hit neutral and got it back in first then dug the rearend into the sand, I grabbed all brakes and the clutch and sat there for just a breif second when it started to tip backward, I leaned forward trying to save it and it just kept rolling. I jumped off and it made 1 complete end over end flip and landed on it's wheels, I got it back to the bottom and it started and we went back to the truck. The only damage was to the front nose piece, needless to say the wife wasn't too happy I just wrecked her new bike. Shortly after that it became mine, she got a predator, I also wrecked her hotrod Blaster there on her first time out at the dunes.
I know she will read this, but gotta anyway

Wonder when the wife will see the light, and not let you ride her rides

Dragon, she told me after she got the Pred that I was not to ride hers anymore. But every now and then she still lets me take hers, as long as she can see me. Guess she still trusts me.

Default The Worst Crash!!!

Read the first post and saw that this was about posting accidents so here is my story. A while back there was a night race up at a local dry lake bed. Well we went back a week later to go over and race the course again. Well while we were prerunning it, we were 5th taped down a powerline road. Well the leader missed the first turn so he pulled off to the side. The guy that behind him, he had a 20k$ race quad fully built, decided to stop in the middle of the road. But what i failed to notice was that he was there. I would have stopped if i could see throught the dust. Well at the last miniute i saw him and slammed onthe breaks. Front and back. Well i tried my hardest to avoid hitting him straight on from behind so some how i managed to only clip his back left tire. In this process i flew about 40 feet ahead landing in some what of a "soft" spot. Well i was told by the other two riders that my quad flipped 3 times end over end and landing on all 4. I would have seen up i was kinda ko at the moment. The DS only managed to receive a extremely bent axle and bent bars. I recieved a broken tail bone, mild concusion and alot of dirt rash haha. The 20k$ quad i hit was a yfz450. The DS showed it its strenght by bending his lonestar axle, his hub, and his omf beadlock wheel. Somehow he stayed on the quad and only got a minor case of whip lash. Well thats my story and ill try to get some pictures later of my axle.

Default The Worst Crash!!!

This happened a few years ago but still makes me laugh when i think about it - It all started when one of my buddies jeff bought a brand new 03 raptor, not much expierence on quads so i was showing him around our local dunes when he became stuck half way up one of the big dunes, now this is a no no over becuase our buddies will soon roost all over you. When jeff was working out what to do on this dune i parked my raptor on the top of the dune and walked down to help jeff turn his bike around, meanwhile jezza had reversed to the top of this dune on his raptor and revved it up and dumped the clutch spraying sand everywhere except on us to his dissappointment, while we were yelling abuse at jezza he moved to another spot to have another go at us, this time he revved her up dumped the clutch but had forgot to take his bike out of reverse gear. You can picture what happened , him and the bike tumbling straight for us, luckily missing us. Jezza let go of his bike and it rolled 5 times before resting in some bushes. Jezza ended up arm in sling for 1 week and his bike i got to repair ( new steering stem, handlebars, levers, front tyre, front spring and shock). I forgot to mention there was about 8 witnesses. Jezza is very carefull selecting gears now and we even have put warning sticker,s on his bike(caution quad may reverse without warning).

Default The Worst Crash!!!

I loaned my 05 Z400 to my son-in -law, Because he wanted to go riding with friend's. He has an ex400 and a 350 Rubicon. I told him he could take it if he was the one going to ride it. Mind you my bike was only two month's old. They went out to an illegal riding aera and decided to make A jump 20ft. long with A 12 foot drop. On A bike he had never ridden before Needless to say he diden't make it. Broke his femmer in four place's. $15,000.00 in medical bill's, and $1400.00 in bike repair's. Moral to this story don't take chances on what your not sure of, or ride in aera's posted no riding. There are reasons for those posting's. Good new's this happened the day before mother's day last year. Today with A 12 inch rod in his leg we are all back riding again. Also mother's for some reason don't like spending Mother's day at the hospital. Everyone keep riding but think before you act. Turn away if your not sure is better then being carried away in A body bag.
