Hi,
I'm going to buy my first ATV soon and was looking at the 2006 outy xt. Thprice I was quoted was 6700 for reg color and 7000 for camo + about 500 for a plow. I will be using it for hunting and plowing as well as some trail riding. I live in upstate NY. Is this too high of a price or is it in the ball park?
Thanks

Were these prices out the door?
I just paid just less than $6000 for a standard model. I decided to go with the standard model because for the $900 difference in price I could buy the upgrades separately and save a couple hundred bucks. I will be honest though I love the XT bumpers, but they have a similar version available as an accessory. The Carlisle radials are decent tires, but there are other aftermarket tires I like better. You can get a good winch off the internet and install it yourself for much cheaper than the price the dealers will give you. My recommendation, go with the standard model for the same performance and upgrade to better parts with the money you save.

Thanks for the reply. No, that was the price not counting sales tax or anything else. I don't really know, but I thought it was a little steep for a 400 size even with the xt package. Also, I'm not that handy with working on stuff so that's why the xt seems like the way to go for me, but I will have to consider my other options.
