Excellent AZ!

I thought the chargers were the sewing machine solution with variable compression. Reliability that can be used for all kinds of riding is "having your cake and eating it too". Minus a rear end, we now have a benchmark set for the 2006 single cylinder winner and 2nd place single cylinder world record holder. If we could get initial performance costs and rebuild cost after race, then that would almost be complete cost/benefit analysis for users: since no one else is going to have Mr HP dyno track tune and pilot their atv.

cost...................Initial build components/market labor price ($)..............Post race build components/market labor price ($).............Benefits

AZ has a TVI 800, I talked to Gary today and he seems like he is WAY up to par with these motors. He went through alot of trial and error like we all did. But once all the problems ironed out I think he has them dialed in.

BTW- Gary, Good luck with the surgery...Ill say a prayer.

i have been thinking about this and i dont know how you would prorate these bikes with one i do believe is a straight drag bike, and azs an all around bike. it dont matter to me what a person spends on there bike as long as they are happy. i know that 850 motor will cost you around the same as a busa on a ds frame thats a new busa motor out of las vegas. as far as chassis your looking at another 4 to 5 gs for almost top of the line and 8gs if you wanted to go all titanium. like i said i dont really know exact figures im just going on by what i have spent. i dont know anything about tvi or the turbo or the monorail, and of a matter of fact i dont know anything about the green goblin. i am speaking just from my guestimates. i roughly guessing you could have mrhp bike for around 20000 dollars give or take a couple grand. so now what you have to take in consideration az from the sounds of it has 2 bikes in the one, a dunable 800 turbo on pump gas, or if he feels like it a 800 turbo on alky drag bike. the only thing left is to find out the cost of that, and then find out what the up keep is on both of them .i know racing is not cheap, there is no need to keep spending the money if you dont have to . i want to go fast but i dont want to have to rebuild after every race. i dont know what a turbo will do to the inside of a motor i have just heard stories but yet i have heard those same stories of high compression big bore nitrous bikes.theres no need for trouble making lets just here some truth. not everyone of us can afford to go this fast so we like to get it rite the first time.

I will say only this. I have yet to see a turbo Ds, thats pumped up, run one full trip without some issue. I know azsandrider has had good success with his, but he runs small amounts of boost. Now I have seen AZ's bike on two different occasions, and not one of them did it run the full weekend. Now it sounds as if AZ has it dialed in, and if its like he says it is, you can say I am full of it. Now I dont know how Erics would do either, but I know of plenty of nitrous bikes that run without any failure.

against a turbo bike and on the second pass the bikes made against each other the turbo bike blew
up. what kind of motor and turbo was that?
