Aprillia has just released, to the press anyway, the long awaited 450 and 550 V-twin motocross bikes. Already, the AMA has banned them from competing in the U.S. SO, if BRP comes out with a new ATV using these engines they won't be able to compete in AMA events, at least for now. This would suck, because this amazing new engine would be fantastic in a sport quad. Let's hope we see these new ROTAX engines in a series of new DS quads from BRP in the next couple of weeks.
Hopefully the AMA can be brought into the 21st century and allow these new engines to compete.

There were some guy's on another forum that were talking about the same thing, If they are not full of BS, the press / dealer ride and show has already happened. Here is a quote from one of them.
BRP had the press intro a couple weeks ago. The information cannot be released yet but keep an eye here at ATV Frontier on May 6th

I found another thread over there on the dealer meeting in Canada. This post was from the CanadianViking
It would seme if these guy's are correct there was a press demo ride, that has already happened and this week there will be the dealer demo ride. I guess in another 5 days we will know if all goes well.
The new model information can be officially released on May 6th so right after that BRP will be starting their dealer demo loop.
From every indication that I've had, BRP is completely committed to the MAX design for two rider ATVs. I don't think we'll see a side/side from BRP, rather I think we'll see continued refinement of the MAX front/back design.

THE NEW ATV MODELS ARE REALLY COOL.!!!
BUT DONT COUNT ON A SIDE BY SIDE. LOOK FOR 2 NEW SPORT MODELS ONE EVERYONE IM SURE HAS HEARD OF THE OTHER WILL BE A SURPRISE WITH A FAMILIAR MOTOR. HE HE. KEEP GUESSING.
