Was good to meet you Gregg. . . sorry I didn't have an extra cap.

Never got to see it run the hill.

Was a great weekend even though I couldn't bring the rail.

Ended up riding with the Daughter and Wife a lot of the trip. . . Daughter is getting used to her new 250EX. . . she actually shot the hill with it

I probably have more parts than I'ld care to admit. . . just not that one.

January in Glamis is the week before MLK Weekend. We usually end up leaving the Friday everyone else is arriving for the big four-stroke Wars.

July 8-14 will be St. Anthony this year.

Those are the big trips for now.

I'ld love to make it to Glamis from X-mas to New Years. . . did it a few years back and we camped in Gordon's Well. Just don't know if I can swing it. The Wife can't get that time off. If I did go, I'ld camp at Gordon's and it would probably be more of a Rail trip. Hopefully next time we meet at the dunes I'll have the rail with me and we can run the turbo busa's around the Mt. Maybe have someone put my Helmet Cam on and get some video of a couple turbo busa's (one rail and one DS) shootin' the hill and dunin'

yea , you can search for "hayabusa engine", "ds650", or probably "ds650 engine" and find it. dune me , helmet cam sounds good. maybe an 80mph wheelie up the hill caught on tape?? or your rail clearing a 100 foot jump between to giant dunes!!! LOL or maybe both of us flying away in the life flight helicopter LOL

Looks like Capewindy is the high bidder on the Busa engine right now!!!

As for the tripples. . . Yeh uh. . . I don't think so. . .

I've changed a lot since last year I think. . . When the buggie hit me while I was on my DS it brought a new perspective to life. Not totally changed just a bit more understanding that this sport can be very dangerous and you really need to watch it.

We are talking about a possible June trip if we can get a cooler weekend. Have to keep an eye on the weather. I need to do a little work on the buggie before then.

One of these day's I'ld like to come by your shop Gregg. I need to get an adapter / mount for my inlet air to prevent it from popping off the intake of the throttle bodies. Right now (the way I bought it) there is a tie-down strap holding it on and it looks like crap. Wouldn't mind paying a few bucks for someone that knows how to build an alum. bracket to work me up a nice set-up. The car needs just a couple things to dress it up just a little bit.

I could probably fab something for your plenum, would have to see your setup and whats around it to mount to. need to find the time to run accross town and get my argon bottle filled first though. if you could send me a pic of the top of your motor and the surrounding area it would help me get an idea of what we would have to work with.
