heading out for sand mountain nv this morning with the new untested bike. should be good weather , low 80's I guess. if you see the turbo DS stop and say hello. look forward to meeting you guys and putting faces to the names. will be there till monday most likely unless we have a catastrophic failure of some sort. I just got my Dirt Wheels and it has your big snowmobile powered banshee in it I did not look at the month but it is the latest edition. They also stated that you were going to give them a peek at your newest creation as soon as it was completed I asume it is your turbo hyabusa.
good luck with the testing hope you do not find to many bugs on your new build.

Man, I sure wish my trip up there had worked out. It would be cool to see you testing your quad.
Good luck!

just got back , nice weather! almost no wind and a pretty fair crowd. there wasnt a whole lot of fast stuff though. ran one bike the whole weekend and only because he called me out. my bike was having cooling system issues so I rode the new rhino most of the time. . kept spraying water out of the overflow bottle when I ran it hard even though the temp gauge never got half way. hoping its a radiator cap problem. anyway I lined up with this fairly nasty drag banshee and he of course jumped the gun . I took it easy over the woops and then got to play catch up. passed him instantly and effortlessly and wasnt even wide open throttle. he gave up and turned around at half hill. a guy at the top said it was the fastest pass he has seen all weekend and caught me at 85mph on a pro speed gun . it has 95 written all over it. dont think it will be any problem to squeeze out 10 more mph. only ran barely 9 pounds of boost! if I hammered it harder out of the hole and had a woop free hill and could have opened it sooner , who knows? felt real good though! very pleased, good starting number I think. we were on the new long STEEP race hill to the right of the old race hill.

good to hear you got to stretch her legs, hope it is just a cap pressure issue, but I've never been that lucky lets us know what you find out, this was a fresh motor wasn't it?

the motor is a brand new from suzuki , 0 miles car kit just like the one I just listed on ebay and it never missed a beat. just pushed out water before it was even very hot. probably a bad cap . the stock ds I took the radiator and cap off of had a rod knock .....LOL, I wonder??? LOL
