Outlander 400 vs Kodiak 450
Hey i know that the bomb would beat the yamaha hands down in about everything by an inch or or mile its faster and more comfortable than the yamaha. But doesnt yamaha have more reliability and better machined motors ? just wanted to see i think yamaha has always been reliable even more than bomb right ?

I think that both machines are a great choice so which ever one you go with you will be happy with...But I would have to go with the outty above the kodiak its just more technologically advanced the way that its set up and the ergonomics are great...If you haven't got your quad to start yet let me know and I will be glad to help

Fall apart faster, lol.
Rotax was making airplane engines long before they started making engines for atv's. I hope they are dependable, for the thousands of small planes that are depending on them to stay in the air.
The engine just breathes better in the mid to high rpms. You can feel it get on the cam.

I ended up with the Outy but it was more a matter of which dealer had the machine I wnated at a decent price. I wanted camo and the only Kodiak they had in camo was one of those super sportsman models with all the bells and whistles with a price tag to match. The Can-Am dealer was able to get me a plain Outtlander from another dealer in PA so that's how I ended up w/the Outy.
I'm very very happy with the outcame. I thought maybe the weight (607#) might be a problem but it's very easy to handle in 2wd, powerslides safely and handles small to medium air just fine. Can't seem to wheelie it tho.
