i dont know if my last post showed up..... but there aint no need to be goin and pullin that stupid sh*t i wasnt implying that i could beat a ds i have never raced one.... alls i way sayin is that the raptor is quick..... i have never rode a ds raced one or wanted one for that matter.... nothin against yall but that is one wild lookin machine.... yeah this may be my "first day" but im just a rider shootin the breeze with yall...... im not new maybe on the computer but not on the trails....

I'm not even going to waste my time on his lame azz 2 stroke rant, I was just curious where he came up with that whole fugly=fat and ugly concept? Seems to me that since the 70's anyway, that fugly was a kinder gentler way to say EFFEN UGLY.

Dude so what is your point here... I gave the Raptor credit in my first post as a fine machine... you came back with some smart a$$ BS. So I don't see where this is going. I never said anything bad about the Raptor... I actually think its a great bike... I think I said that in this thread. Not for me necessarily, but a nice machine. It hasn't won anything significant, however, so to come on here and challenge my statement that the DS is the fastest of the 4's with no evidence that it is not, is kind of... well.... "stupid sh*t" as you put it. I realize that everyone is manufacturer centric to their own machine when it comes down to brass tacks, but come on bro. Get over it, don't enter into a conversation just because you don't like the facts of the matter. The DS is winning races this year and the Raptor has not... it may change next year who knows... but that is called bragging rights, and we are entitled to that at least until the DS is knocked off the podium. I also never challenged your ability as a rider on the trails. I have never ridden with you and do not know you. My reference to you being a "new booty" was because you are new to the forum, and I think I even gave you a welcome earlier in the thread. Last, you can't expect to go to the Bomb forum spewing Raptor propaganda and not expect to get bashed a little... if you want to be a touchy feely with a bunch of Yamaha owners then go to that side of the forum and you can stroke each other about how great your bikes are all day long. Bottom line is, at the Bomb side of the world we believe that one bike stands above the rest and the race record this year definetly proves that. 700 raptor is not far off by saying the raptor is fast, we have run both the later model dsss against the 700 and my 05x. all stock, that raptor smoked my 03 viper but could barely beat my 05x. now with that said when we matched them lb for lb rider / bike combo they swapped wins back and forth all by a half length. the raptor would be a greatbike if they could leave it lite like it is and make it a little bigger so my knees are not even with the handal bars. now this might get a few people angry but it wont be the first. my opinion on the yfz its a piece of $hit as far as im concerned. sure it has alot of potential to be a fast bike but it just sucks. first the clutch,i dont know what it is but i think its geared way different, i was trying to help my friends kid with his yfz and i killed the stupid thing 10 times in front of a bunch of people, it has a real touchy clutch, then at a low idal or should i say idaling around in first and 2 gear the bike feals like its about to fall apart. it has a heavy vibration dont know where its coming from but this i have noticed on 3 different ones, then you go to the exhaust if you ride in shorts and no boots you know what im talking about. they need to design the exhaust so it does not swing out as far. 15 minutes of riding i had blisters on the inside of my leg from the heat off the exhaust, and this is not just a isolated problem all 3 yfzzzz i have been on did the same thing. yes im stubborn i did not learn from the previous times. the chassis feels like its made for a 5 fot 8 inch person who weighs about 170 lbs. the raptor improved its a little bigger but i feel you would be pushing it if you put a rider over 6 foot tall and 220 lbs. i have been beat by yfz, raptor,a quadzilla, and a 10 year old 125 pound punck on a honda 450. and these losses was with my 730 big bore on nitrous. every bike has its goods and bads but i think if you want to go lb for lb the ds is a hands down win. just my opinion , but who am i rite.

 

What are we going to do with this one.... maybe you have not heard yet about sarcasm. Crazy's wit is far beyond you conprehesion level... we can see that from the conversation yesterday. Have you considered that Crazy has a highly modified beast of a bike, and that his sig is pure sarcasm... yea, I guess that one went right over your head didn't it. Look, just keep telling yourself that you are the greatest and that your 2 smoke will last forever, and then when you are digging in you engine replacing rings next season, really think about reliability and our converstaion here, cause I'll be out riding. I bought a 4 stroke cause I'd rather ride than wrench. Late.
