Video of DS650's beating all the 450's on a MX track. This is the Arizona CMC Copper State Classic series where a couple of DS's are currently dominating.

Just showing another example of the old addage "It's not what you ride, it's how you ride".

I used to whoop up on my friends on the MX course when I had my DS. Then a really good rider would come and I could not win to save my life. When I ate it last April and totalled my DS I was in 1st place on an MX course with 1 turn left for the checkered. There was every quad under the sun out there and 12 of us lined up. So, you are right. It depends very much on the rider.

** Holy crap! I just watched it and that is a neat course. Not a tree around for miles. Thanks for the Vid.
** I just watched again. The leader quad looks like a 450r?

Yep, that is a nice track for quad, I just wish they would let us on there more often...oh well. And yea, that is a DS650 in the lead there. I believe it is being ridden by one of the Ellsworth's, either Rick or Todd. Surprisingly enough, on the day I was there, there was only one YFZ in the field. I guess he did pretty well in the first moto with a third, but finished last is the second. I think he's in second on the start there with the yellow plastics, but fades pretty quick. It seems to me, there were a load of Bombs there though...might of been all from the same team/family.

I just watched that again. This time full screen. If the leader is on a DS I will... do something really nasty.
That is a TRX 450r if I ever saw one. I do see a couple of DS's, but not up front. The exhaust is on the right side, too. I guess there could be Honda lookin fenders for the DS, but I don't think so.

Hmmm, I'll be honest, now you have me questioning myself, and I was there. Now, that was the first lap of a 4 lap moto, and I don't think the guy leading got passed, and I'm pretty sure it was a DS that won...it would be the first time today, but I could be wrong.

I am glad it wasn't just me I watched the video and I thought the same thing. I swear it was a honda 450R. If I am wrong than I am sorry but I am pretty sure. I would rather see the last lap so I know who won.

No sir, that was not me. I was behind the camera for that one. That happened to be a buddy of mine, and he's fine. The bike needs some work though. If you look close you can see parts flying off that thing.

My big one, like most others, was not captured on camera...

Well, again, you guys know the DS much better than I do, but I thought for sure that was a DS...I could be wrong. Can you tell what the second place bike in the video is. He's got one of those vertical number plate deals in the back. I'm almost 100% sure that is a DS and both of them are the same team. I think they are father/son as a matter of fact. Again, don't quote me on that part though...

I've been trying to find standings from that series so I might be able to figure it out, but not having any luck.
