BTW ATTN: ALL
What I meant when I originally asked "faster than yfz450" was on the track...is there a quicker quad in the same class....and know for damn sure its not the TRX or LT 450s....and what is the HP of a DS??? YFZ claims the highest HP to weight ratio...clearly stating not the highest HP period...but we all know hp:weight is the most important (including rider's weight, having most hp to weight dry vs with rider is 2 different things)

Power to weight isn't everything. I have seen bikes with better power to weight ratios lose to less powerful bikes because of rev acceleration. More torque is not the only thing that makes an engine rev faster. If that was the case diesel's would rev like crazy. Compression, intake velocity, cylinder pressure, exhaust speed and internal rotating mass are key.
Remember when the first test came out between the '06 TRX450R and the '06 YFZ450? The Honda had a much better torque curve and had a better power to weight ratio, yet it still couldn't quite pull with the Yamaha in a straight line. The reason was because the YFZ revved out much quicker. It was at a higher horsepower threshold at 30' out of the gate because it was at a higher rpm than the Honda.........................but................. .....I've cracked that Nut before
The biggest reason YFZ's that are set up right and have a good rider on them are so hard to beat, is they spin up so quick. You have to put alot of money into a DS to run with piped YFZ on a short steep hill. On the flat is a different story

"Diminite", Spelling and grammer was obviosly not one of the subject in the 2+2 courses completed. But as they say, "Toys for boys", "Machines for men", Cannot remember when last I saw one of your type toys on the podium at a Dakar Event? I personally know the winner of the 2004 Dakar and see the winning bike on an almost daily basis. Definately looks like a DS650 to me. I am not sure how accurate our local Quadding magazine is or for that matter our Satelite television coverage, but according to both, the latest Dakar was also won by a Frenchman riding a DS650. Not sure about you, but here where I am we do not have anything as tough and gruelling as the Dakar. Anyway, enjoy your toy, one day when you grow up, you might also want to own a machine. Happy playing.

And I thought this was taking a turn for the better?
Who really cares anyway?
I heard that a new company calling itself "Can-Am" is coming out with a 450 that will fly faster than a speeding bullet.
DSNUT? Did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express or what!?? That was a good tutorial! Maybe that explains my holeshots on my YFZ.

Now relax. It's just a joke.
