Default Outlander 800 Odo question

The speedo has both markings already, it's just that the km's are a little smaller, so what's up? I ignore the km markings, can you not ignore the mph?

Default Outlander 800 Odo question

Ignore the mph? Why would I want to do that?? I WANT it to show up in good ol' US of A units. My speedo isn't the issue though. I'm trying to get my odo to display in miles instead of km. Of course, ignoring the mph and looking at the km is more fun on the speedo because you think you're going over 100 on the bomb

Eyeisdee1, I sent you a PM about the manual for the '06 Outty. You mind sending the pdf to my email?? Thanks!

The dealer uses his laptop and [buds]software to change it back to mi, i dont blame you for wanting it to do what you expect.its like having a scab you will keep picking at it till its gone.

The dealer has to change it to miles, mine came in the metric form also. When the dealer re-sets it have him put your name in after the "Hi" readout. Also get a spare key and have him check for any fault codes set in the computer. He can also tell you how fast the thing has been driven along with other 2nd owner good info. Before you go make sure he has a spare blank key, the key is programed in the unit.

MPDC1.. I made a mistake when i gave you that last info. My apologies. What the dealer showed me was how to switch to a tachometer, trip mileage, etc. It sounds like you are going to get this worked out...the bottom line is this: you have got yourself the best machine on the planet!
