shifting forks? bent?? need HELP!

shifting forks? bent?? need HELP!
my questions are these:
1) what are the symptoms of bent forks? (2) are any gears affected with bent forks? (3) how expencive to fix? (4) who has then & are there any stronger than stock? this is what happened: i was shooting a hill at the cinders and while down shifting ( maybe short stroked the clutch a bit) from 3rd to2nd it appeared that i hit neutral... rpms went SUPER high and now it apears top be stuck in 4th or 5th gear.. motor still runs good but quad will bearly move with out smoking the clutch. can some one help a brotha out?
