The Following Chart Compares the HP/Torque/Acceleration of a Stock 2000 DS650 and a Stock 2001 Raptor.

The Data was Derived from Dyno Charts Posted Online.

Assumptions are the following:

DS650 = 460lbs + 150lb Rider = 610lbs total
Raptor = 400lbs + 150lb Rider = 550lbs total

Am I reading it correctly that the DS is only accelerating faster at 5,500 and 6,500 RPM?

Also, the Raptor appears to have an ultra-even torque line. I hate to call it a curve because it appears that it barely does according to your inputs.

Is it possible for you to do a similar chart on a modified DS and the dyno chart for the CT Racing Raptor with the aftermarket pipe and airbox mods?

Thanks for the great info!

The Ds650 makes more horsepower& torque from 5000rpm to 7700rpm.

300exSTER,

Yes, I understand that. DsDave has since edited his post. Originally, he said way more power up to 9,000 RPM. That is what I was pointing out, that it made NO power beyond 7,700 RPM.

So strictly from Scooby's chart, am I reading it correctly that stock vs. stock, the Raptor is accelerating faster at every measured point but 2?

That's cool, I'll edit my remarks out of my previous one.
