make sure you take the snap rings off first that are holding it in place, mine was a pain, took my a long time to gently keep tapping it off, and even getting it on the new axle it took 30 mins of pounding to get it on. just be careful if you hammer it off, its cast and will shatter.

Block of wood and a hammer works. Hit the block insted of the hub.

pack the shaft in dry ice and the carefuly heat the hub. Good luck and that should work for you. If you can't find dry ice use regular ice.

No you have to pull the hub on the other side remove snap ring hub brake hub then slide axle out of bering housing. When you put the new berings on make sure you put them in the freezer for a day it will make it much eazyer to put on when your ready.

did you have any problems getting the brake hub off? I cant get mine off.
I'm stuck, i've removed the snap ring, but it almost looks like their is anothing snap ring on the inside of the hub, or perhaps an o-ring of some type, but its in the way, and wont let the brake hub slide over the part of the axle which flaires out.

Anybody know what i'm talking about, and how I get that oring or snap ring off?
