Default clutch problems

Ive been having a problem with my clutch staying partially engaged. As soon as i put it into reverse, the bike takes off backwards fast without giving any throttle, then getting it into any forward gears is next to impossible if the engine is running. I took the cvt case off, removed the outer and inner assembly and discovered mud and sand areound the weights so i throughly cleaned them and reinstalled. Same problem. Took it apart again and i think what the problem might be is the actual clutch was stuck inside the outer assembly because i had to tap it out with a rubber mallet. There is a bushing inside there and it seems to me that the clutch should spin freely inside that bushing, not be seized. HAs anyone experienced the same problems and if so will the whole outer assembly need to be replaced since the bushings are not available through Bombadier, but only available with the whole outer clutch assembly? Thanks for any advice i can get
