Ron, your the one who needs to be reminded to SPEND YO MONEY WISELY....and think twice before you line up next to a 650 stock bore....without having your ducks in a row.

If its just excuses, what were they at the Planet sand drags when the HPR studs put the smack down on every single bike they raced???? I forget, how did the rest of them there Ds's do.......? Oh thats right, not so well, lol!!

And if we are talking about a customers bike, bring your best to Ds days. You know I am!

I tend to shy away from all you guy's banter about builders, but man its getting to be difficult. I guess when one builder has been at the top for so long, everyone wants to take a jab....?

rcoop, who do you choose for parts? I assume its Pami since you defend them so well. Thats a nice choice, I am just wondering.

Well i think Jeff's bike ran 4.1 at Planet. I do not own Pami parts my Brother-in-law does. I dont remember saying one builder was better then another. There are many builders that can build power. Randall is the one that said this is last years motor with old head and cam specs. So if running old technology makes Ron a stud in Hpr circles good for him. I'm just saying even if Ron could find the power his ego will get in the way of him ever learning to get it down the track. Lower compression more nitrous engines are easier on starters too.

Alrighty then, I'll stay out of your guys argument.

4.1 is hauling, I dont care who's parts you run.
If you are going to spray nitrous, then yep I agree. You might as well take advantage of it. But it will hurt you when you dont spray.
Who's parts do you run, anyone in paticular, or a heinz 57?

As for the studs, I would have to admit, I was going to change them on my last build, but forgot. My head has been off probably 7 times, in the four years, so I figure what the heck, one more time wont hurt.....right? **** now you all got me sceered!!

I am not discouraged by a setback. i think my money has been spent wisely because of the potential my setup has and the honest people I am working with. It is up to me now to bring that potential to fruition

Its all good. You suffered a setback at planet sand with a redlight and a blown motor when you piloted Jeff's bike. You, as well as anyone, know how nerves and little gremlins and plain stupid mistakes can cost a race.

My self esteem, nor my courage are damaged by what happened at dunefest. I will carry on

I am still waiting for you to point out where I have made any excuses. The only statements i have made that even remotely resemble an excuse were said tongue planted firmly in cheek

I did explain why the bike stopped and wouldn't start again. Was that the excuse you are referring to?

Btw, speaking of excuses............remember when you said you were waiting to line up with me at the official races as a reason (excuse) for not finding me to set up the grudge match? You went on to say that after my bike died there was no reason to seek me out after that either.

I did a little checking just for fun.........you never registered your DS for any of the classes which means you couldn't have raced me on the track which means you never intended to line up with me in the first place. Talk about excuses

As i said, I am not going to race you, nor will I ever.........unless you sneak up beside me on the hill without my knowledge. I have a 30 year rule that automatically disqualifies anyone over 30 years older than I am as a racing opponent

You are welcome to watch me from the sidelines but no racing. No offense to all you old guys but my rule applies to all of you lol I don't want to get beat by an old guy........this is true........but there is no glory in beating an old guy either. it is lose/lose for me........so no race. Again, rcoop if you were to die of natural causes while we were racing, I may never be able to forgive myself

Besides it sounds like Choosetolose would be a better opponent for you anyway............Hell, his bike even runs!

You guys are a kick!

My run was 4.71 with just an 800 in a 415 - 425 lb chassis. How many hundrenths slower was that than your 4.6#?

Oh yeah, everyone i talked to at Dunefest said they were running 2 tenths slower than the dirt or heavy sand tracks because the sand was so loose and deep that weekend.

I am not dissatisfied with the motor's power.......I don't think HPR is either
I ran a 4.9 2 1/2 weeks ago on a stock bore DS that ways 480lbs and me the rider 250lbs. That was the first time out with the new build. It does not have any Pami internals but may be there were Pami studs used and thats were I got that 4.9 from.

Drakester - You obviously missed my excuses for not going faster.........here they are again This has to be the last time I explain this, though. lol

If I had rotated the gizwheel another degree or two and adjusted the cryoscopic resonator on the back side of the firmination algometer I could have laid down 3 more parsecs of transmodulation in the first part of the race. The humodifier was set for the wrong harmonization which put the bramostat out of configuration. This cost me bigtime at the end of the track!!!

I can't say it any clearer than that

Congrats on the 4.9. The Rocket Raptor that was claimed at 70 hp (700R punched out to 770) and they claimed 280 lbs ran solid 4.85's and 4.88's all day and eventually took KOTD for the single cylinder class. You would have been just a smidge behind him............unless the track conditions you were on were vastly different....doubt it though.......
