Just got back from Quadfest, was a killer weekend, sucked it rained for a lil bit of the drags, or the time trials i should say. I was disapointed that we didnt get to line up wit the others and drag, but it woulda ran late into the night then, I only saw 2 other DS's down there, only 1 of them entered the drags wit me, we showed the 450's we can run right with them [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I think the best 4-stroke time in my class ( i dont count the banshee that ran in every class b/c there was no organizational skills whatsoever ) was a 4.5 and i ran a 4.7, not bad for my first time. I think the drags shoulda been longer, only got to shift once, launched in 2nd and got to the beg of 3rd, if it ran a lil more we coulda opened 'em up and seen whos really shined, so basically the drags were a race of who had the best 2nd gear LOL!
But all in all it was a fun weekend, anyone else go down there?

 

Was your 4.7 in 300 feet?

 

they didnt say and i didnt ask, but i would guess 300 feet

 

i think it might have been a little shorter probably 200ft. i ran some 300's and i could wind out 4th and almost grab 5th. and 4.7 is pretty fast for a stock weight ds with the mods that you have.

 

yea it was rough, i was upset i could only shift once, u cant have a real race only running in 1 gear lol
