Default DS Days Roll Call

I like running the valley, the whoops are severe, But last time there were whoops up top of the valley. It might not be that beat up this time of year.

Yeah, Once you past 30 yrs old the wrecks hang with you a little longer. I try to keep in semi decent shape incase I get dumped off the bike at a high rate of speed.lol But I use pilots sometimes so that decreases the odds..j/k Jed and jord.

With the bikes you run, thats a tad insane. I like it though. I had a drag banshee that did 75 up the hills and that was enough for me. On a flimsy alum frame hitting a pocket in the sand wasnt too fun. Id guess that your turbo would do 90 up the face?

Sounds like my bike will be the slowest pig out there... Should be a hoot though. Hope you drag guys got your gearing right, because BigDaddy will be pulling at the top of the hill - no where to run boys!!!!!!

Should have plenty of juice on hand - WATCH OUT!!!!!!

Mike - I pulled the plug on Nitrous after this last weekend. I will not have a system by DS days so you will be able to pass me with no trouble We can pull the back of the pack together, buddy

Mario - I ran 2Big's bike this weekend with NOS. I liked it! I put it to a couple of fast banshee's on the hill on Scott's behalf That stuff is addictive

I can't go into the details right now but as the system was configured it wasen't going to work for me. I made the decision after looking at all the testing we did to not run the system. I will say we had a dreadfull lean spike off idle that under the right conditions, lugging and load could be dangerous to the motor. It was a spike on the dyno but in sand it was a flatspot. We were unsuccessful in tuning it out. Don't read anything more into this than what I have said. My situation could very well be isolated and i have only gotten far enough in my decision making to pull the plug on running the system untill i learn more about it.

I will still make a respectable showing on motor as long as I don't have any other freak mechanical failures

That sucks. But I have the solution.................................just dont ever dyno it and you wont know its there
I would bet I can guess why its lean right at first, as I am sure mine is the same way, I just dont know it yet. But I certainly can understand your concern, especially with the new engine and all.

Racing is only one little thing in the Labor day trip there is alot more to do than just race, so bring your duner.

Nut, that is very interesting. I was JUST at the dyno last week (or was it the week before?) and my fuel curves were a little scary to say the least. Fine for all motor but on the juice was scary. Guess we'll have to do more testing in UTAH. I believe that there is a dyno coming right? Hope it's got a working sniffer.

Yea, I hope that my little motor and fat quad can be somebody out there.

Big D, yep Kam will have his dyno there. Will all the people talking about doing dyno work, he's going to be a busy man.

I wouldnt worry too much about your bike, I think others should

Good Lord it is getting close, and I am dying to get out there and ride somewhere new, and meet everyone....No one remembers meeting Crash and I last year as we stopped by and everyone was very drunk But you all looked to be having a good time. We will be there Tuesday evening.... Jed once we know for sure what time we are picking up our trailor in Salt Lake, I will let you know. Are you still planning on dropping your trailor off that night with us?

The new construction job has not done a lot in the weight loss area that I had hoped it will, but I have gone from 300 to 275 in just over a month. Also dropped from a 40 waist line down to a 36, yee haw....I figure that weight is not all there is to HP....I am losing wind resistance

Man I am ready to be out there riding....Yesssssssss!!!!!!!! We will be unmistakable out there. We will have a big Red F350 with flaming signs, and a White Ford short bed.....With a minimum of 3 black DSs.........
