Just want all who are coming that dont know how to get there. Mapquest will pull it up. Just type in Little Sahara Recreation Area, and it will lead you right to it. Who would have thought

While I can't wait for the Labor Day weekend, I am at the same time, scared to see what this Alaskan pipeline problem is going to do to fuel costs. I'm lookin at a 1100 mile trip in a motorhome that gets 7 mpg on a good day (yikes!!!). Oh well, what's a few more hundred bucks. You gotta wonder, though, where it's all gonna end.

I think I will be bringing the snomobile bike but I decided to change the entire front end and shocks all the way around before I run it again . watched a marvin shaw's top hiem joint break off on the front of one of packards bikes on memorial weekend and it scared me. bike was going about 70 when it happened and the whole front end just folded and the frame just dove into the sand and stopped the bike INSTANTLY but not the rider. he went through the bars and ripped the steering stem out of the frame with his chest and bent it almost strait forward. not pretty. my a arms will only accept shaws because they are -1 in length and only 1/4 inch from the shaws. all other shocks are bigger around and hit the a arms. its kind of set up as a flat drag bike now and I want to run the hill with it so I want to raise the front end some anyway and get more travel . now is as good of time as any. will probably install some works non resi shocks and some +2 forward 3 a arms to give the bike some more length. hope to have it there though.

HOLY CHIT! I dont blame you. I think its a smart move. Now im gonna have to go take a gander at my shaws.lol
With all the hp from the snomo I dont think a few lb's will hurt you. That wreck sounds knarly man. Was the guy ok?
The face should be perfect for the 2 stroke.

I know he was carried away and went strait to the hospital but I believe he was ok. I want something that will better handle woops and is a little more controlable at speed. shaws are probably alot better on a 225 lb bike with a 150 pound rider and I havent been 150lbs since I was 12 ,LOL. Im getting to old to cart wheel flip bikes up hill also.
