Default Shim Underbucket Shim adjustment

Say, how do you adjust these shims for valve clearence VS the Stock way?

Default Shim Underbucket Shim adjustment

same method, use thicker or thinner shim, whichever your math says you need, they are just under the bucket instead of on top, pull the bucket out with a magnet and there she be sitting right on top of the valve stem surrounded by a lip machined in the titanium retainer.

valve clearance specs depend on cams, most higher performance cams call for an increased clearance, where stock is .004-.006 some cams call for .006-.008, some maybe even higher. check with manufacturer
