Default Stroker version???

I will grant that the strokers are more work but isn't the RWR stage III about $4k for the kit? Aren't those also ranging between 55 and 60 hp? I have never thought of RWR as inexpensive when you consider the modest horsepower. I had way less than $4k into my 730 motor that was making 70 to 72 hp depending on the dyno....................but I still had to build a stroker

Good luck!

Good catch Nut. . . side-tracked from phone calls.

Stage II + mild port work.

Head work on the Stage III is about $2,000 by itself. Get a $300 to $400 port job with the Stage II and you are good.

I agree that the 720/727/730 kits are a good set-up but, generally with those come most of the stuff on Stage II so you are into it for like you say. . . about $4k+

Pipe/carb/CDI/high compression piston/cams/valve springs/air filter = great power.

Anyways. . . what are YOU looking for more power for?
