Default yet another DS plastic question

is there anyone out there in atv land that owns both a red and black 03 DS and an all red 05? are the reds from these 2 years exactly the same or are they a little different? was thinking about an 05 red rear fender with an 03 large headlight red front fender for something Im working on. I dont really care for the small headlight the 05 has.

I think what he ment was yes they will all fit any year. He was just saying that the two colors are different. One is an orange red and the other is a bright red.

That is true but they will still fit. We had the old headlight with the new plastic and it still fit. We now have converted to the new headlight though.

seems like I tried the large headlight on the small headlight plastic and about 1 inch of the headlight on all sides was behind the plastic and when you turned the light on the whole front of the bike glowed and it didnt make a good light patteren on the ground in front of the bike. also got alot of glare back in my face reflecting of the inside of the plastic.

I would think if you put the trim on than you will have trouble with it. But we never had that problem and it seemed like the headlight still fit fine.
But this is just from my own personal experience with my husbands bike.
